Congratulations Symone!

Hubby went at Symone's school this morning to get our little girl's report card. I was so excited and curious on how well did she do in school. After an hour, hubby came with a very good news. Symone did very well in school last quarter. Her teacher told hubby that Symone has improved a lot. She is very sociable and responsible in school. Hubby told me that he was so shocked when he found out that our daughter ranked number 1 in her class. Yipee!!! He was even more proud when he saw our child's name in their school's bulletin board.

I am so proud of my little girl! Hard work really pays.....

As a reward, Hubby and I are planning to have a movie night with Symone after having a dinner at her favorite restaurant tonight or tomorrow night.

Mommy Moments - Dress Up Day

This week's theme at Mommy Moments is dress up day. Participants has to share any photos of their kids dressing up in formal clothes or costumes.

I had a hard time looking for some photos to share.

These photos were taken when my kids were trying out the costume that they will be wearing on a friends costume party. The funny thing was that, my Symone thought that every time she will wear her costume she can fly like super girl.  Such an innocent little girl :)

Playful Kids

Last night, hubby, me and Symone went to my niece's 12th birthday party. We had dinner there with some friends. Symone had a great time with Ashley, Daphne's sister and Symone's best friend. We went home at 12 midnight and Symone was so tired that soon after her shower she went to bed and sleep. When we arrived home, Liam was sleeping already. I missed my son and if only I can wake him up, i definitely would.

Today, my kids were so busy playing. My Symone played with her bike while my son Liam was so busy diving her little toy car. They were so eager to race each other. I am so happy seeing them playing happily together so I grabbed the camera and took some pictures of my two lil naughty kids.

Mommy Moments - Name Game

Here's a little story about my kids name......

My daughter's name is ELAIZAH SYMONE

Elaizah- Hubby and I got it from my sister's name ELLA and my grandmother's name Eliza

Symone- It's a name I always wanted since I was in high school. I told myself that when the time comes that I will be having a daughter, I will name her SYMONE and thank God I remembered the name just before I gave birth

My son's name is LIAM XYMONE

Liam- from the actor Liam Neeson. I love the name! I searched the meaning and found some infos about it....

This name is a short form of the Irish name Uilliam (William) which is now use independently as a given name. As a Hebrew name, Liam means "my people; I have a nation".

Famous bearers include 'Oasis' singer Liam Gallagher, former Irish Taoiseach or Prime Minister Liam Cosgrave and actor Liam Neeson.

Liam is currently a particularly popular name in New Zealand (#10 in 2006), the Australian states of South Australia and Western Australia (#7 in both in 2006) and the Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia (#5), Alberta (#8) and British Columbia (#6).

Mommy Moments - Rain Rain Go Away

My second time with Mommy Moments and I am really enjoying it. This week's theme is Rain Rain Go Away....




The photos were taken last January this year. My sister Ella and Symone having fun in the rain. I can say that Symone had a real good time playing in the rain. This is a very rare moment since my sister Ella is working abroad. Ella will be going back home this December and I know that Symone is excited to see her favorite "tita" again.

Anyway, my son Liam was sick during that time so he cannot join her Tita Ella and Ate Symone, poor little boy.

2 More Days

Symone's exam will be up until Friday so it means she still has 2 days more to study and review. Symone is sleeping now and I can say that she was so tired this noon. We studied for more than 2 hours for her exam tomorrow. I told her that as a reward to her, we will be going out on Saturday and Sunday. I told her that Daddy and I will be buying her super favorite Vanilla Frappe at Starbucks. She told me that she is so excited and she promised me to do good on her exams. I trust my daughter and I know that she will get good grades this quarter.



On the other hand, my son Liam never fails to amuse us everyday. He is so cute and we can't help but to adore him. He can now make funny faces and he can call us whenever he needs us. He loves to watch his favorite noontime show and can even say the title of the show... WOWOWEE... hahaha!

Hubby and the kids had a fun time taking a dip in our inflatable pool. The kids were so happy! They stayed in the water for almost 3 hours. Unfortunately, I cannot join them because I have tons of household chores to do. I am contented peeking at them once in awhile and I am so glad that my kids enjoyed some quality time with Daddy.

My Angels Are Sick

Symone and Liam are sick. It's 2am and I am still awake. I cannot sleep and I am so worried. Hubby and I bought Symone's gown this afternoon. I am so exhausted and tired. We bought few things for the kids and luckily we found the perfect gift for Symone for her graduation. Symone did good last school year and we know that it is alright to give her the gift that she's been asking for since last year. Hubby and I bought a Labrador puppy for her. She wants to have a pet dog since last year. Hubby and I we're kinda hesitant to give her then but just this morning we decide to finally give her the gift that she wanted.

Symone's Last Day of Exams

Today was the last day of Symone's final exams. I think that she did well with her exams. Her teacher gave me Symone's schedule for the rest of the school days till their graduation day. Symone has to go to school for the upcoming weeks for her graduation practices and for the release of her grades. Her graduation will be on the 4th of April. As I said on my previous post, Symone is accelerated to prep, so it is a must for her to take summer classes for her reading skills. Too bad that her summer swimming lessons will be postponed till next summer... :(

Anyway, I just uploaded pictures from camera and saw this...
Symone loves to take pictures and she was the one who took this picture of her with her brother Liam. I was planning to buy a new camera and when she learned that I am looking for a new one she's been begging me to give the old digital camera to her. She told me that she wants to bring the camera to school. I told her that as soon as I got the new cam, the old one will be hers. She is so excited and I can see it in her eyes.

My daughter Symone will be having her final exams this week. I am praying and hoping that she will do good on all of her tests. She studied so hard this weekend and I know that her hardwork will pay.

Anyway, Symone's teacher informed us that she will be accelerated next school year. From kinder 2 to Preparatory. I am so proud of my child! My happiness is over flowing and I am really grateful.

Symone is a very sweet little girl. A daughter that any mother could wish for. I love her to pieces!

Another upcoming event... A dear friend of hubby and me will be getting married on the 30th. Symone will be their flower girl. This will be another "FIRST" on my daughter's life. She is so excited! I am now browsing designs online for her gown.

My Daughter Symone

That's my daughter... Elaizah Symone. She is already 5 years old and in kindergarten school already. My Symone loves cartoons so much. She loves watching Spongebob Squarepants, Fairly Odd Parents, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and many more. After school and as soon as she is done with her assignments, you can find her in front of the TV or she is on the computer playing some of her favorite online games.
My Symone loves to watch me cook. Cooking is usually our time alone.
Symone also love her Mathematics subject.
And lastly, she loves her brother Liam so much.
